HOW MUCH WILL YOU PAY FOR FAME?

Last year, Malaysia ad agencies spent almost RM500,000 at the Cannes International Advertising Festival in submission costs and entry fees alone. As the awards season starts soon, with the Asia Pacific Advertising Festival as a major frontrunner, while technically the World Press Awards is first, ad agencies will be budgeting their resources for this year’s shows. ADOI has compiled a list of websites where you can check out what’s in store this year. These are regional and international shows only. The local show of course is the Kancils. We will do a total of how much is spent this year towards the end of the year, but ADOI believes that last year more than RM2 million were spent on awards show entries.
